Best Looking Boots for Fall
When it comes to buying boots, I have a few prerequisites. I prefer suede boots with a block heel and good coloring. In my opinion, if I’m going to invest in a pair of boots then I want them to not only look good, but feel good, and last for a couple of years.
Let me start off by saying that I prefer suede boots because suede doesn’t scuff in the same way that leather does. And, so long as you treat it with suede protector, it will stay relatively clean and look nice for years to come. Plus, suede is just super attractive! (Snakeskin boots are my one exception to this rule, because most snakeskin boots are made from leather).
Next, I opt for block heeled boots and booties because a.) I’m a mom; and b.), they’re easier to walk in. A block heel is the perfect solution to wearing high heels as a mom. You still get to wear high heels without taking the risk of falling on your face. It’s a win, win.
Lastly, my brown boots must be taupe or cognac in color. There are so many varieties of brown boots out there, and I find that taupe and cognac match what’s in my wardrobe the best. They’re the perfect neutrals. The color and pattern of the boots you choose to wear is all about personal preference. But, I find myself mostly sticking to blacks and browns. Although I must say that snakeskin is this season’s new neutral! Thoughts?
As far as length goes, I love them all – over the knee, knee high, ankle booties, etc. Over the knee and knee-high boots tend to look best with skirts and dresses, and ankle booties pair perfectly with jeans and pants. However, if you’re only looking to buy a single pair of boots that you can wear with everything, I’d recommend purchasing a pair of black or neutral colored ankle booties. You can literally pair them with anything.
Keeping all of these details in mind, I’ve put together eight of the best-looking boots for fall and winter. All the boots that I’ve included on my list have been selected based on ratings, comfortability and (most importantly) attractiveness 😉.
